As part of the University of New South Wales’ 2025 Learning Environments Strategy, a progressive upgrade and refurbishment of current teaching spaces is underway. The objective of this strategy is underpinned by the University’s commitment to provide world-class learning environments by staying in touch and evolving with current technologies and understanding how they can be utilised to enhance the learning experience.
Ichor were appointed by the University to upgrade Building D16 Goldstein’s mechanical services and to refurbish and fitout existing conventional classrooms into 8 state of the art Centrally Allocated Teaching Spaces (CATS). These new CATS spaces feature the latest in AV technology, illustrating the seamless integration of the physical and digital campus. The fitout features bold colours and curves that add to the exuberance and ambience of the space.
Ichor are proud to have delivered this project and to be working with the University to integrate technology to support active, collaborative and blended learning.
