The BRW Upstarts report is a list of Australia's fastest-growing start-up companies.  To make the list, Upstarts must be between two and four years old, have rising revenue and have at least $500,000 in revenue for 2004-05.

The list is a collaborative research project between BRW and Kosmas Smyrnios, the director of research at the school of management at RMIT University.  There were 40 Upstarts on BRW's inaugural list last year, and this year, after an exhaustive search, 75 companies made the list, which includes nine from last year.  Ichor Constructions Pty Ltd debuted ranked at number 5 on the list.
